at Miami University

Futures in Retail is a career-professional organization that focuses on developing the hard and soft skills needed to pursue a career in the retail industry. As a National Retail Federation Student Association, we pride ourselves on building a strong professional network and personal brand.

In the fall, we plan our focus around our Columbus and NYC trips. This involves networking with various retail professionals, touring different companies, and attending the NRF student conference to potentially land internships and full-time roles! Usually, we try to have one or two speakers, but this is sometimes challenging due to the busy retail season!

In the spring, our focus is on organizing guest speakers virtually as well as continuing to network for professional development. 

​

In addition, we often partner with MUF&D for in-person events such as Friends of Fashion and the Clothing Swap. Many thanks to MUF&D for allowing us to partner with them!
